Echo Ridge XC skiing above Chelan

Travelled North from Wenatchee along the Columbia to Lake Chelan and up to Echo Ridge where there are a selection of fine Cross Country tracks laid out on the hilltops with wonderful views over the eastern Cascades.

Echo Basin and the Feathers

Went for a break from the snow, SE to Frenchman's Coulee near Vantage, where water falls over the ramparts of the Columbia plateau, freezing up in the cold of January.
