A gondola malfunction at Aonach Mor meant that Dan and I were faced with either walking up from base or going to look at Smoking the Grey Owl, the waterfall that drops from Sgurr Finisgaig just east of the gondola top station. Ice was pretty thick, but holes meant that in places you got sprayed by the waterfall underneath. Couple of pitches of 2+ lead to final pitch at 3/4.
A good use of a cloudy and rather mild day.
