Sardinia, September 2010 Dive trip.
Made a week long visit to Sardinia, my first, to dive out of the small port of Palau in the north.

Northern Sardinia is a granite paradise. Wonderful rock formations above and below water and a sunny climate make this a fine diving venue and all round nice placve to visit.
Offshore from Palau is a spectacular archipelago of islands.
Onshore are some spectacular sights also!
Immaculate granite.
Palau looking north.
Palau, looking to Corsica.
One of the many secluded coves near Palau.
Maddalena, town on island north of Palau.
Wartime ruins atop a hill near Maddalena
Gulf of Orosei, above and mountains inland, below.
Rugged hills rising above Palau.
