Was staying at Ambleside Backpackers Hostel in the Lakes with the Argyll Mountaineering Club, that I started nearly a quarter of a century ago. On the Sunday we travelled over Wrynose to Pike O Blisco to rock climb at Long Scar. A walk of about half an hour from the three shire stone leads to a lovely wee crag that faces southwest.
