Erraid (Mull) climbing trip. Aug 2010

Yes, this is Erraid! Looks like Sardinia, but actually off Mull and not Italy!

Relaxing on Traigh Gheal, an inlet on the south side of Erraid. Base camp for the week.

Paddled down there from Fionnport with dangerously overloaded kayaks full of everything from chairs, beer, wine, whisky, food tents, tarps, climbing gear to fishing poles!

The nearest climbing was on the Pink Wall right above the camp.
View across the bay and further to Iona.

Chris in Torridon sea kayak

Chris climbing on the Upper tier of the main cliffs.

...........and on the Pink Wall above camp.

Donny, ankle in plaster after a soccer accident with his achilles, tackles his one and only climb.

Donny looking more at home with kayak and fishing rod.

David leads the fine arete of "One dead puffin" opposite base camp.
Full moon and whisky at Traigh Gheal, Erraid. L to R Chris, Don, Rave and Anthony.

Asteroid chasm in the next inlet west.

Whilst on Erraid I began to explore Eilean Dubh and Eilean nam Muc to the west of Tinkers Hole and discovered many new fine climbs which you can see some of on the following entries.
